The 120th Annual Ruthin Flower Show and Grand Carnival will take place this year in Ruthin on Saturday 19th July 2008.
The Ruthin Flower Show will officially open at 12.00 p.m. at our new venue for
2008, the Ruthin Farmers Auction Site in Ruthin.

"So much more than just a Flower Show"

In addition to the large Horticultural Show, the 2008 show boasts an excellent
Craft Fair with many exhibitors, a Vintage and Classic Car Show, A.T.C Display,
Shire Horses, Ponies, Tapica Band, Quad Bikes, Go Karts, Gymnastic Displays,
Clwydian Royals, Young Farmers Exhibition, Visiting Queens, Majorettes, a Funfair,
Barbeque, a Reptile Stand, stalls of all descriptions and lots of entertainment
for all ages.
The Schedule of Classes for
2008 comprises :
• Floral Art
• Home Produce and Handicraft
• Stalls
• Horticulture
• Junior
• Visual Arts
• Photography
• Vintage and Classic Cars
• Vegetables and Flowers
• Best Kept Gardens Competition
There is ample car parking available, food and refreshments will be available all day along
with a Barbeque by the local PTA, a tea tent and a beer tent.
A FREE SHUTTLE BUS by Rogers Coaches from the Town Hall to the Show Site will
run all afternoon from 12.30 p.m. onwards. |
